The can't miss NYE event in Stanthorpe

NO New Year's Eve plans? No worries.

The inaugural Stanthorpe Eats and Beats has the night sorted with non-stop music, food trucks and a spectacular midnight display.

The major fundraiser for Carlton Football club is only 25 sleeps away and promises to kick the new year off with a bang.

The night will see the exhibition centre transformed into a night quarter festoon lighting, picnic areas and more with ample seating for everyone.

Non-stop entertainment will be provided by Brisbane musician Nathan Bruen before high-energy rockabilly band Little Billie bring in the new year.

Meanwhile vendors Boss Meats, Foxy's and Carlton will keeping stomachs full by selling great food throughout the night. A bar in operation serving wine, cocktails, milkshakes, tea and coffee. When the clock strikes midnight the centre will light up with sparkler fireworks and confetti cannons.

For the kids there will be a jumping castle, face painting, colouring stations, play dough and even a mini inflatable soccer field.

Organiser Amy Torrisi encouraged residents to grab their tickets now and make the most of early bird discounts.

"Avoid the queues and jump down to Foxys or Geoff Rayner photography or buy online now,” she said.

"It is going to be a great night for all - not just for the New Years Eve goers, but also a social outing to enjoy great food, music and company.”
