TERRI Irwin is not getting married to Russell Crowe, but she does love her crocodiles.

The Australia Zoo owner has made headlines across the world this week on two very different issues.

Gossip magazine New Idea romantically linked long-time friends Terri and Russell.

And while the idea of two singles hooking up might be nice, Australia Zoo was quick to hose down any suggestions it was true.

Maverick MP Bob Katter also took to the news to talk about Terri, but it was her views on crocodiles that had him all fired up.

"It really would be good if greenies such as Terri Irwin would make some effort to live in the world of reality, that we poor humans have to live in," Mr Katter said.

Terri has not responded to Mr Katter's comments since Mr Katter's spray, but she will make her thoughts on crocodiles very clear.
