Sam Lynd

WELL they have done it at last, increased the speed limit on the Brighton by-pass, where it is two lanes each way, to 100km. This makes it a faster run and a change of scenery approaching Hobart.

And at Mood Food, where the service and welcome remains the same as they add a large and much-needed truck parking bay out the back and upgrade other facilities, it was good to catch up with Sam Lynd from Burnie when he dropped by for a quick bite to eat and a cold drink.

Sam was driving a 2011 R480 Scania for Tolls and was on his return leg back to Burnie from Hobart towing a B-double.

He tells us he has only been with them for a month so far, but that it appears to be a good job, and he was certainly enjoying the Scania.

He added that he has been really busy, and is looking forward to doing a bit of fishing and relaxing over the festive season.
