Jamie Taber

IT WAS good to catch up with our old mate Jamie Taber from Launceston the other day, when he rolled in to Mood Food, the 24-hour Caltex Truckstop at Kempton, for a quick bite to eat and a great cuppa.

He was driving his accustomed Monson's 2007 Iveco Stralis 550 at the time and towing a B-double, including a side loader, and was on his way back to Bell Bay from Hobart.

Jamie has been with them for five months now and says he is finding it a great job with a great crowd of blokes to work with.

He also asked us to say hello to his boys, Bradley, Alex, Benny and Carlos, and told us he had been in WA working for IES out of Kalgoorlie.

He also adds a big "G'day" to his mates on the big island, but said it was really good to be back in civilisation again!
