Will Rhodes

WE HAD dropped into the greatly revamped Caltex truckstop and roadhouse at Epping Forest the other day for a much needed cuppa when we ran into Will Rhodes from Cygnet.

He had just rolled in driving a pretty impressive Hazell Brothers T-404S with a 500 Cummins up front and a Hiab 700Ep-S crane on the back to enable heavy loads up to 17.8 tonnes on the flat deck.

This unit was named Think Big and it is easy to understand the name.

He was on his way from Hazell Brothers' Long Hill quarry down to HBMI near Hobart at the time and observed that it had been a stunning day so far weather wise.

Will has been with Hazell Brothers now for five years and said you would be hard pressed to find a better job or outfit, and that they always run top, well maintained gear.
