Tony Whitehouse

IT WAS a real pleasure catching up with Tony Whitehouse, from Perth, when he rolled into the Epping Forest Caltex Roadhouse and Café the other day driving a Barwick's North 2007 500 Hp Mack Trident and towing a super dog on his return leg from Margate to Launceston with pine bark.

Tony tells us he has been with the company for four years now and he says they are a great crowd to work for and it is a good job all-round.

He adds that he has been on the road all up for 28 years and has always enjoyed the job.

In his spare time, Tony is the vice-president (under Lurch) of the Tassie Truckies Memorial Wall Committee, and was glad to show us the progress made on the wall so far. It is due to be opened on January 18, 2015.
