Tassie Truckin': Tom Buckle

WE WERE sitting in Salamanca Place having a cuppa the other morning when a roving Santa passed wishing everyone "Ho ho ho and Merry Christmas”, waving to us from his tastefully decorated Harley Davidson.

After checking with our mutual friend Mick Cobra from Murray Bridge, we believe this was no less than Thomas Buckle himself, well known gentleman log truck driver from Colac.

He had recently come down for a trip around Tasmania with some friends, and had obviously stayed over to share the Christmas cheer, doing an incognito Santa run.

He was obviously enjoying swapping the Daf for a stint on a Harley by the look of it.

So we would like to join Thomas, presumably back in his Daf now, in wishing you all the best Christmas ever and every happiness for the coming New Year.
