Tassie Truckin': Scott Wrigley

IT WAS good to catch up with Scott Wrigley from Perth when he rolled in to the Epping Forest Caltex for a cuppa and refreshment break the other day - a fair way from home.

He was driving a Gradco 1995 Cherry red T-900 tipper at the time.

Scott was taking a welcome break from working on the new stretch of highway at Epping Forest itself.

He tells us he has always had a passion for life behind the wheel and spent a lifetime on the road, having left school and gone straight into logging.

"I only started here just before Christmas,” he told Big Rigs.

"As I was working in the gravel pit previously, but so far it seems to be a good job, and I certainly like the truck, and I've got a good boss, and I reckon that's a great start.”

In the rare amount of time off he gets, Scott told us he still likes to spend it behind the wheel, but of a smaller variety keeping it busy racing go-karts.
