Tassie Truckin’ - Scott Triffett

AFTER spending 19 months with Worsley's Scott Triffett from Bridgewater tells us he is happy all round, both with the outfit and the crew he is working with, and also with the truck.

And indeed the truck is an eye catching rig, a 2007 4800 Western Star with a 550 C-15 Cat up front and towing a B-double with two boxes on their way from Hobart up to Launceston and then return at the time.

Scott tells us he has been on the road all up for 17 good years.

"I have no regrets at all," he told us, "and it's been a great job and a good way of life for me".

"I like the outdoors and when I get a bit of time off I get to enjoy fishing and all the many outdoor activities Tasmania has to offer."
