Rod Towns

STOPPING at Mood Food, the 24-hour Caltex Truck Stop at Kempton, for a quick bite to eat the other day we were fortunate to catch up with Rod Towns from Upper Blessington when he dropped in for a quick cuppa. He was driving a Total Lift 2005 Isuzu 1400 and towing a pig trailer on his way from Kingston back to Launceston. He told us he had been there for about 12 months and he was really liking the job, which gave him lots of variety, and also a great boss! He is happy with the Isuzu and also added that he liked the versatility of the outfit whose motto seems to be: "If it goes on a truck we will cart it!"
