Matthew Rowbottom

THE other day we gladly caught up with Matthew Rowbottom from Bridport when he rolled into the Kempton Caltex for a rest break.

Matthew was driving a Re-Cab Mack Vision with a 460 V-Mack up front, and towing a quad dog from Impact in Hobart with a load of fertiliser up to Scottsdale at the time.

He told us he has been with the outfit for two years now and is really enjoying the job.

"Good boss, and lots of variety working state wide and delivering to farms anywhere from the Huon to Smithton."

He was also enjoying the cooler weather as autumn begins to make itself felt in Tasmania at long last.
