Luke Andrews

Driving up the Midland Highway trying out the newly- opened Brighton by-pass the other day we ran into Luke Andrews from Launceston when he stopped for a quick refreshment break at Kempton.

He was driving a Statewide Linen Services 2010 Fuso Canter HD 4.5 rigid (affectionately named "Ben", there is another named "Bill") and he was on his way back to Launceston from Hobart and New Norfolk.

Luke tells us he has been with them for eight months now, and that he finds it a truly excellent job, with a good crowd to work for and with, and happily one that has a bit of variety and is keeping him busy.

He was also happy with the new Brighton By-Pass, which is quicker and easier than the old road, though, like everyone, he hopes to see the 80K speed lifted soon! He also told us he always stops at Mood Food for a cuppa and picks up his Big Rigs there.
