Jason Doyle

PASSING by the 24 hour truck stop Mood Food the other day, we were happy to once again catch up with our old mate Jason Doyle from down Cygnet way when he rolled in for a quick cuppa.

He was driving Phillip Cowmeadow's 1999 Mack Trident at the time with a 470 V-Mack up front and towing a tri-axle tank of live fish, and was on his way from Millbrook to Dover.

Jason also has trucks of his own but he enjoys doing a bit of driving for his long standing friend Phillip from time to time too.

He has been on the road for 27 years all up and has also had his own outfit for 12 years, and it is all keeping him fully occupied at the moment.

He tells us he loves the business and being out on the road, especially on a lovely Tasmanian autumn day in the Trident.
