Jarrod Painting

WE HAD a great catch up with old mate Jarrod Painting from Riverside, up the Tamar, when he rolled in to Mood Food.

Jarrod was driving a Tyres4U 2012 Hino 500 FE rigid Tautliner at the time and was on the return leg from Geeveston to the depot at Saint Leonards.

He tells us he has been with them for a bit over five years now and that it is just a great job travelling all over Tasmania. In fact he loves the whole awesome package.

Jarrod started working for them as a tyre fitter in the workshop, but when he got the chance to start driving instead of fitting tyres he jumped at it and has never looked back.

"Look at the weather today", he said, "who would want to be inside?"

He was off to Smithton the following day and was all smiles at the prospect.
