Ian Seabourne

IT WAS good to catch up with Ian Seabourne from Huonville the other day when he dropped into Mood Food for a bite to eat and a great cuppa.

He was driving a Petitt Hire 2003 Iveco 6700 at the time and was towing a tri-axle trailer. He had taken a load of construction cement panels up to Ulverstone, and was currently on his way back to Electrona for a second load. Ian, aka Wink tells us he has been with the outfit for 15 years now and says it is a great job, with a good boss and crowd to work with.

He had recently been up to Alice Springs for the inductions into the Road Transport Hall of Fame, and had taken his completely restored 1974 International C-Line with him. He adds she is running like a charm with a new Isuzu motor, and is commonly known now as the Winkybago.
