Tassie Truckin’ - Edward Kelly

THE irrepressibly cheerful and humorous Edward Kelly from Lorinna rolled into the Caltex at Epping Forest the other day and he happily posed for his photo with Erin and Jemma.

Driving an RBA Linehaul 2001 Mack Magnum with a 600 Signature Cummins up front, Edward was towing a B-double from Arthur River down to Port Huon with fresh Tasmanian pears at the time.

"I've been with RBA now for three years," he told us.

"And I'm still loving it and living the dream!

"I've been on the road more years than I care to recall, and whilst, yes, it has its ups and downs, it's still a good job, and you meet some pretty interesting people along the way including Erin and Jemma here at the Caltex.

"And Caroline of course!"

Asked how he spent his off time he told us: "Well when that happens, I like taking it a bit easy and getting out on the road on my Iron Horse, an impressive Victory Judge".
