Tassie Truckin': Dion Proposch

RIP Dion Propsch
RIP Dion Propsch Jon Wallis

IT IS with great sadness that we at Big Rigs would like to join Valerie, Liz and Emily Monoghan, Chris and Jane Bell, his management and crew, as well as his many friends on the road, in extending our sincere condolences and sympathies to Pat, Michelle, Vlad, Aidan, Belinda, Damien and Natasha on the passing of one of Tasmania's most respected and competent truckies, Dion Proposch from Hobart.

Dion passed away at home on January 6 from a heart attack.

His funeral service was will be held on Friday, January 19 at 1pm at Millingtons at 25 McIntyre St, Mornington and he will be laid to rest at the Forcett Cemetery at 3pm.

Dion will always be remembered as a meticulous hard working operator with a cheerful optimistic approach to life and work.

He was a devoted son and family man, and a proud and great ambassador for Chris Bell Removals, a company he felt a great attachment to, no doubt in part because his trips to the mainland with them often gave him the ability to attend Hawthorn football matches, and yes he loved his "Hawks”.

Dion, your happy and "can do” nature will be sadly missed, but your memory will live on along those many roads you have travelled and in the many hearts of those he touched.
