Des Jones

WELL we did a double take when Des Jones from Dysart rolled in to Mood Food at Kempton the other day, for gone was the Ned Kelly beard and hair and here was a neat and clean shaven man fresh from the World's Greatest Shave on Sunday, March 17 at Storm in Criterion St, Hobart, to raise money for leukaemia research.

He happily found time to stand with his sponsor, Colette Bryant from Bothwell (also on the happy and friendly staff at Mood Food) in front of the Jones family's 1999 Mitsubishi rigid with a large tractor on the back.

He was on his way up to Bothwell at the time and said he was born into a trucking family, and loves it.

Incidentally Des raised $500 and asked if he could give "a big thanks to the good people at Storm and also the 'New Sydney'".
