Cardi Barker

IT WAS good to catch up with Cardi Barker from Cressy the other day when he rolled into the great newly designated truck parking area behind Mood Food at Kempton.

He was driving an eye-catching Woodhouse 2002 Mack Superliner with a 620 HP Signature Cummins up front, towing a B-double log jinker with logs from forests out back of Dover up to Bell Bay.

Cardi tells us he has been with them for five months now and is really enjoying both the job and the truck. In fact, the truck has just won People's Choice at the recent truck show at Carrick.

He notes that he is really enjoying getting out in the forests, where there is some fantastic scenery that no one sees under normal circumstances, and he hopes to be doing it for some time yet.
