Andrew Voss

STOPPING over at the Caltex at Epping Forest for a great cuppa and a bite to eat the other day we were pleased to run into Andrew Voss from Kingston when he rolled in driving a Chris Bell Removals and Storage 2003 Power Star with a 550 Cummins Cursor up front and towing a drop deck furniture pantechnicon.

Andrew was on his way from Hobart to Brisbane at the time via the "Spirit of Tasmania" ferry from Devonport overnight to Melbourne.

He has been with Chris for five years this time, having previously been there for 10 to 12 years, and he still enjoys the job which gives him plenty of variety and job satisfaction, though shifting furniture is often hard yakka and specialised work which doesn't always appeal to the younger generation.

He has been mainly running up and down the east coast of mainland Australia lately, but said he surely likes the home leg, especially with the beautiful early spring weather Tasmania has been experiencing recently.
