Talented kids on show
STANTHORPE Little Theatre is at it again. With two plays done and dusted this year, their next production is a talent show for kids. Not only do they perform and star in it, they helped develop the show.
"Stanthorpe Has Talent is a home grown, collaboratively-developed, delightful variety showcase of the gifted young performers in our district, featuring song, dance, comedic and variety renditions from children aged five to fourteen,” said show director Annie Mitchell.
"Along with the performers, there will be presenters, judges, as well as a cheer squad to encourage the audience to show their enthusiasm for the acts and help with the scoring.
"There will be lollies. Three Candy Girls will roam the aisles and instead of a raffle, we'll have a Count-the-Lollies-in-the-Jar competition.
"This performance is especially designed for our younger audience members, so bring along your whole family and have a great night out together.”
Stanthorpe Has Talent has a strictly limited season with performances on Saturday August 18 and 25. Buying tickets now is highly recommended. Ticket prices are $20 for Adults, $15 concession, $10 for Children (5-14 years), $50 Family (two adults and up to four children in the same family) with under 5 years old free.
Tickets are available from Gracious Giving.
