The Chronicle asked Facebook followers to submit Christmas photos of their loved ones and they definitely delivered.

We received more than 90 photos of children with Santa, families putting up the Christmas tree and dogs dressed in jolly outfits.

A popular choice of photo was the obligatory sitting on Santa's lap snapshot.
