Symphony orchestra presents free concert tonight
THE Queensland Symphony Orchestra will perform in a free concert at the Gladstone Entertainment Centre on Friday night.
The community concert will feature members of the orchestra, instrumental students from Gladstone high schools, The Company Voices conducted by Jenny Garrett and members of the Encore Concert Band and String Ensemble.
It will include music by Vivaldi, Gershwin, Strauss, Copland, Brahms and Karl Jenkins.
No bookings are required for the free concert, which begins at 7pm.
