Star of truckie film dies

DO YOU remember the iconic scene in White Line Fever when Carol Jo Hummer crashes the Blue Mule through a sign of a corrupt business causing trouble for truckies? 

The star of the 1975 film, Jan Michael Vincent, has died at the age of 74. 

According to Truckers News, the cause of death was listed as cardiac arrest. 

As well as starring in the truckie movie, he was in The Hardy Boys in 1967 and appeared in the CBS show Airwolf as Stringfellow Hawke. 

He retired from acting in 2009.
