SSM Fake Votes our votes stolen.

I recently found out through my 'enthusiastic' neighbour men that they said don't worry about voting.

We were up early and took the letters from our street voted yes and sent them back. We knew thats what you wanted.

I began to explain that it is a federal offence and I should report you to the police. Now I don't want them to be arrested but its not fair that was my vote to choose to do what we want.

My Neighbours are nice people I have nothing against them and while I stand by the word enthusiastic and they are reasonably young iam disgusted and felt somewhat bullied into this madness that I have to write this article.

I contacted the Australian Electoral Commission who went through the entire rule book and said ahh we dont have an answer for this one.

As I sat on the phone as they took my details and assured me the letter reeived from both me and my wife will be destroyed and a new form will be sent to the PO BOX I thought what an absoloute waste and how is this fair. for everyone.

After being assured the papers were being resent I i stopped to recollect. Who was to say someone else was not going to think the same thing but in reverse as to swing the actual vote. Love her or hate her I noticed an article about Pauline Hansen today saying about this should have gone to the polls. Its a valid point though. You go in they tick the name off the list and that's it. Weather you vote or not is at your discretion. but at $122+ million im simply saying that this really does not seem the best investment for this country when there are some more pressing issues. Maybe I am wrong.
