Show Caitlyn your support

COME on Gympie, it's time for us all to get behind our amazing X Factor star, Caitlyn Shadbolt.

The Gympie Times has joined the growing number of local businesses and individuals throwing their whole-hearted support behind the talented, beautiful and vivacious young singer from Chatsworth who has made it in to the Top 12 on X Factor, and who on Sunday night will give her first live performance on the show before fronting up on Monday night for the first live eviction.

She needs our support and votes to avoid elimination.

Head online and spread the word and Gympie's excitement using the hashtag #CountryCaitlyn on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

You can also post your photos and messages of support to The Gympie Times Facebook page.

The best will get printed in The Gympie Times.

Once Channel Seven releases the phone numbers that members of the public need to ring to register their support and vote for Caitlyn on Sunday night they will be posted to our Facebook page.

The businesses that have already posted great photos of support include Murray Views, where Caitlyn's mum Helen works.

Caitlyn has proven to be an exceptional ambassador for the Gympie region and told The Gympie Times this week what an honour it was to proudly claim her home town.

Aussie mums are also coming up to her to thank her for being such a wonderful role model for their daughters.

Don't miss Caitlyn's live performance on Channel 7, Sunday night.
