Second roll over at Orange roundabout

FOR the second time in five months a semi-trailer has rolled over on the roundabout at the intersection of Leeds Parade and the Northern Distributor.

The latest accident occurred at about 8.30pm on Tuesday.

A truck carrying timber was travelling in an easterly direction on the Northern Distributor and tried to turn right into Leeds Parade.

Both lanes of the road were closed for five hours while the area was cleared and the truck pulled upright.

The 49-year-old truck driver and his 10-year-old son, who live in Plainland, Queensland, were unhurt.
