School cleared following earlier bomb hoax

POLICE have given the all clear for students to return to class following an earlier bomb threat at Central State School.

The threat was received about 10.05am, with the school evacuated immediately and police called in to check buildings.

It is believed the threat was of a similar nature to those received at schools throughout Queensland over the last month.

Students were able to return to class about 11.40am.
