Rugby star's plea on Facebook

AUSTRALIAN rugby icon Nick "The Honey Badger” Cummins is busier than a one-armed bricklayer in a housing boom as he hunts for his lost GoPro at Double Island Point this afternoon.

The 29-year-old Western Force star yesterday afternoon put a call out on Facebook, asking his loyal followers to keep an eye out for his pocket-sized camera on the beach.

"G'day lads, I lost my gopro at Double Island Point, it has a fluro yellow mouth mount,” he said.

"If someone finds it plz dm me on Facebook or insta and the nights on me. The content is valuable to me, rewards will be given cuz its Christmas. Take care, badge.”

The post had been liked more than 2500 times and shared more than 300 times on social media in just one hour.

Cummins rose to popularity for his quirky post-match interviews, in which his laconic Australian personality bursts into people's homes. He followed it up with TV ads for Tradie Workwear's underwear, with one-liners including: "Does your set-up feel like it's gone 12 rounds with a goanna in a camp oven?”.
