HOLLYWOOD star Ruby Rose and Aussie pop duo The Veronicas have been relaxing in the Sunshine Coast hinterland before a Queensland Christmas. 

Pictures taken at Secrets on the Lake - a getaway near Montville - show twin sisters Lisa and Jess Origliasso posing with Rose and a group for a picture. 

The caption reads "Welcome to and see you next year Jessica & Lisa and their lovely friends".

Rose, who is dating Jess, joined the group at the hinterland retreat to celebrate ahead the twins' birthday, which will be on Christmas Day, The Courier-Mail reports. 

Its understood the three will spend Christmas Day together in Brisbane, where Jess and Lisa are from. 

The Veronicas performed at the Big Pineapple Festival at Woombye earlier this year, and must have liked what they saw.

On stage they told fans they loved coming home to Queensland.
