How new roadworks on Duggan St will affect shoppers
IF YOU need to do some shopping on Duggan St in Toowoomba's CBD, prepare to find yourself inconvenienced.
Toowoomba Regional Council has already begun upgrading the existing water, sewerage and stormwater mains along the street, as part of the redevelopments to Grand Central.
As a result, Duggan St will be one-way for the moment, accessible only from the Little St end.
TRC Deputy Mayor Carol Taylor, who chairs the infrastructure services committee, said the works would take up to three months to complete, weather permitting.
