Rig art to be featured on TV

THE A&E Channel knows good TV when they see it.

While shooting scenes for Mega Truckers at PJs Custom Spray Painting in Rocklea they noticed the boys at the painting and mechanical workshops were something special and asked to film a sizzle shoot.

Owner Steve Lemon said they wanted PJs to airbrush Ned Kelly onto the back of a Western Star.

He explained the sizzle shoot was a kind of test to see if PJs could have their own show.

The film crew handed airbrusher Jeff Barrie a sketch that looked like "a prison tattoo", and from there he created the work of art.

Big Rigs has scored an interview with Steve about filming for the A&E Channel.
