REVEALED: Caloundra Music Festival's 2017 line-up
THE first glimpse of what's in store at the 2017 Caloundra Music Festival has been revealed, with the first line-up announced this morning.
With bands like Spiderbait and Art Vs Science, the Hot Potato Band and artists Drapht and Jon Stevens it's a real mix and festival organiser Richie Eyles said one big-name artist was expected to attract a new crowd.
"Ronan Keating, that's a bit of a coup for us; I know he's got a lot of fans," he said.
"It's a slightly different line-up to what we've had before."
Mr Eyles said off the back of festival-goer feedback last year more rock bands have been recruited.
"Sometimes we don't quite know what they're going to think about our acts, but there does seem to be a great reaction to the first announcement," he said.
More than 65 more acts are still to be announced in the months between now and the festival's opening on September 29.
