Ready, set, lift-off to Melbourne and Cairns

TICKETS for flights from Wellcamp airport to Melbourne and Cairns go on sale tomorrow with early indications the new destinations will prove popular.

The flights start on march 14 with one-way tickets initially costing $179 to Melbourne and $139 to Cairns.

Future prices will be subject to change.

The full flight schedule will be available at www.airnorth.com.au from tomorrow and bookings can be made online or through travel agents nationally.

Wellcamp airport's general manager Phil Gregory said he expected tickets to be snapped up quickly.

He said enquires had been "flooding in".
