WOMEN from the Warrego Division of the Queensland Country Women's Association held their annual general meeting at Morven on Saturday.

Members from around the region were in attendance, some had driven from as far as Eromanga and Quilpie to be present.

During the meeting, executive positions for the upcoming financial year were announced, and outgoing president Mrs Maggie Wade thanked members for their support and compassion during her recent illness.

Executive positions for the QCWA Warrego Division in 2018-19 are:

President - Mrs Delma Quinn (Quilpie)

Vice-presidents - Mrs Judy Connolly and Mrs Maggie Wade (Charleville)

Treasurer - Mrs Madonna Maris (Charleville)

Secretary - TBA

International officer - Mrs Susan Ranson (Charleville)

Promotions and media - Mrs Jan Ross (Tambo).
