#Jerseysout to honour Coast cyclist, father-of-three

CAMERON Frewer will be farewelled this Friday in a colourful, public celebration of the husband and father-of-three's life.

The Frewer family have asked for no flowers for his funeral, instead requesting any donations be made to Bicycle Queensland to continue his fight for safer road conditions for cyclists.

As part of the Sunshine Coast Daily's Unite for Cam campaign, we're asking people to put their cycling jerseys out on the day of the funeral, similar to how the country came together for cricketer Phillip Hughes' funeral.

A GoFundMe has raised more than $25,000 in support of Cameron's wife, Catherine, and their three young children.

Mrs Frewer said she had been overwhelmed by the support they've received from the community.

"I feel like I've got this big tidal wave behind me, and everyone's just pushing me forward," she said.

The funeral will be held at 2pm at the Gregson and Weight Chapel at Caloundra.
