Prossie is on show for all to admire

IF ANYONE can be trusted to capture the true essence of just how beautiful Proserpine is, chances are their last name is Faust.

And few would disagree after watching Matt Faust's masterpiece entry for the Qantas My Town Spirit competition.

The video showcases the very best the region has to offer, including the Peter Faust Dam, Proserpine Golf Course, Cedar Creek Falls, Dingo Beach and much more.

Mr Faust said when it came to promoting the area, Proserpine was an easy sell.

"There is a beautiful nature surrounding the town which is world class, including the green cane, the Proserpine mill and the Peter Faust Dam, which is really underutilised,” he said.

"It is such a unique little town and we would love to see more people come here.”

The video has been shared widely on social media by local government representatives, Proserpine Chamber of Commerce and numerous local people.
