Private schools double dipping
THE government provides a public hospital for free treatment. If I decide to go to a private hospital, I pay and the private hospital is not subsidised.
The government provides a public school for free schooling. If I choose a private school, I pay.
Why should private schools be subsidised?
These funds could be used to provide improved facilities at public schools.
