Primary school students leading the way to a bright future

PRIMARY school students from across Central Queensland yesterday learnt a lesson in leadership.

Grip Leadership held a conference at the Rockhampton Leagues Club.

Heights college student Gabrielle Field said she learnt a lot.

"I've learnt a lot about leadership," she said.

"We learnt a heads, shoulders, knees and toes exercise that taught us how to be a leader."

The student leadership conference is Australia's premier student leadership training event, travelling across the country.

The students participated in practical and hands-on interactive activities which assist in preparing them for their roles and responsibilities of leadership in their schools.

Secondary school students will attend a Grip Leadership conference today.
