Police searching for man who attacked stranger at bus stop

POLICE are searching for a man who approached a stranger sitting down and started attacking him in Rockhampton's CBD.
Reports indicate the incident took place near a bus stop between Denison and Bolsover St.
It is believed the attack has long dark curly hair wearing a dark shirt and had a white backpack.
Police are searching buses and the nearby area.
