Police investigate numerous offences in Burnett

POLICE are continuing to investigate six offences committed by unknown offenders in the Murgon, Cherbourg and Wondai areas between January 25 and February 1.

Unknown offenders entered a house on Gore St, Murgon, between 8.30am and 7.30pm on January 25 and removed personal items before leaving.

Between 6am on January 23 and 8am on January 30, unknown offenders used a tool to enter the Gore St business and once inside took various food items before leaving through the front door.

Unknown offenders damaged windows and fence railings and wilfully damaged the floor and stairs of a Lamb St business between 5.30pm on January 25 and 1pm on January 26.

Unknown offenders damaged a fence at a property on Harms Rd, Wheatlands, between noon and 5pm on January 30.

Unknown offenders entered a house on Thompson St, Murgon, through an unsecured door, stole personal items and left through the front door between 3am and 3.30am on February 1.

Unknown offenders damaged a window, removed it and entered a house on Arnell St, Murgon.

The offenders then took various food and personal items before exiting through a door on the side of the house.

The offence happened between 4pm on February 1 and 6.30am on February 4.

Unknown offenders attended a business on Stephens St, Murgon, and damaged a drain cover between 11.30am on February 1 and 8am on February 4.
