Police to detonate more bombs inside Qld home

POLICE will continue to detonate explosives found inside a suburban Brisbane house on Monday.

It could be another two days before residents evacuated from neighbouring properties are allowed to return to their homes.

Police raided a house on Kallista Road in Rochedale South about 4pm on Saturday to find it riddled with explosives and volatile chemicals.

A 32-year-old Rochedale South man has been arrested and charged with a number of offences including manufacturing explosives without authority, failing to correctly store explosives and unlawfully possessing weapons.

Photos, comments and videos posted on Facebook brought the man to the attention of detectives with the Logan Criminal Investigation Branch, Chief Superintendent Noel Powers said.
