Police appeal for information after truck hits pedestrian

POLICE are appealing for information after a truck struck a pedestrian at Kingston.

 On Tuesday, January 15 about 9.45am a truck collided with a 40-year-old Logan man on Kingston Road, between Augustus St and Clare Rd.

Police are now investigating the "serious traffic" incident and are appealing for help from the public.

The pedestrian, sustained serious head injuries and a fractured pelvis and was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

While the driver of the truck, a 17-year-old Cedar Creek man, was not injured.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact the Logan Forensic Crash Unit on 3809 5277.
