Planets and star to align horizontally

THE planets Saturn and Venus will align horizontally in the sky tonight night with the star Antares, which sits in the heart and is the brightest of the Scorpius constellation.
Owen Bennedick of Wappa Falls Observatory said the alignment will never be repeated in exactly the same pattern and only occurs every few hundred years.
The phenomenon can still be witnessed tonight, and on Saturday, by the naked eye, through binoculars or a telescope.
Antares is on the left, Venus in the middle and fainter Saturn on the right or to the north.
On November 3 a crescent moon, Antares, Venus and Saturn will also comes into alignment.
