'Peace drum' to beat in Valley

A TASTE of ancient Norwegian shamanistic tradition will be visiting the Brisbane Valley this weekend.

The World Drum will be in Lowood tomorrow and at the Fernvale markets on Sunday.

The drum was created after Norwegian drummer-shaman White Cougar received a vision.

A "peace drum" it travels the world having stopped in more than 400 locations on every continent except South America.

Lowood business My Crystal Aura owners Ron and Sue Windred will be in possession of the drum this weekend and will be hosting a special welcoming session for it tonight.

Following the ceremony tonight the drum will make an appearance at the Fernvale markets on Sunday where anyone can come and have a look.

For bookings and further information phone My Crystal Aura on 5427 9618.
