Patient transported to hospital for burns

A FEMALE patient has been taken to Miles Hospital after sustaining burns to her face.

Emergency services were called to a minor kitchen fire at a private address at 9.50pm where the patient in her 20s had suffered the burns, according to a QAS Media spokesman.

She was transported to hospital in a stable condition.
