Paramedics treat snakebite victim on side of road

PARAMEDICS have treated a person on the side of the road for a snakebite in Toowoomba early this morning.

The Queensland Ambulance Service reported the person was bitten on the lower leg on Brisbane St in Drayton about 7.25am.

The patient reportedly stopped their vehicle on the side of the road and called for paramedics who responded to the incident.
