'Huge mess' Truck rollover spills tonnes of dirt on Coast road

UPDATE: A SEMI-trailer that rolled at the entrance to a major Coast has estate has spilled tonnes of dirt on Yandina, Bli Bli Rd.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the spill had caused a 'huge mess' on the road and was causing 'traffic hazard' to other motorists.

The driver of the semi was not injured in the crash however was transported to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

A QPS spokeswoman said crews at the rollover would be diverting traffic to clean up the spill.

EARLIER: A SEMI-TRAILER has rolled at the entrance to a major Coast housing estate, with paramedics and police rushing to the crash.

Initial reports indicated a semi-trailer rolled outside the entrance of Park Lakes Estate but no one was injured.

It is not yet known whether traffic has been diverted.
