Car flips in crash on busy intersection

EMERGENCY services have rushed to a traffic crash at Maroochydore that's left one car on its roof.

A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said crews were called to Aerodrome Rd and Second Ave to a two-vehicle crash about 12.45pm.

The two patients who were involved were out of the cars as paramedics assessed them on the scene.

One patient was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Queensland Police officers and firefighters also attended the scene.

Police were monitoring traffic until the car would be towed.
