A STANDING ovation greeted the cast of The Mikado on their opening night, and the atmosphere was just as strong for the second show on Saturday night.

On Friday 400 people packed into the theatre, and stage manager Jeannine Butler said the applause had been deafening.

There are two more shows before The Mikado closes, on Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28.
